If we add to that small, picturesque villages as Cassis or La Ciotat, these contrasts are still more interesting. The South of France means different landscapes, different people, different cultures. I invite you to spend this day with me to discover the complexity of the mediterranean coast in Provence.

In this tour, I propose you to visit two the most incredible places of the whole Provencal coast. You won’t feel alone in the whole world, but you must see these places at least once in your life!
You will visit the basilica Notre Dame de la Garde, you will have enough time to admire its panoramic view of all the city, I will not tell you more, you are sure to be impressed as soon as you arrive. It’s incredible.
We will come back to the car and drive through different districts. Marseille is a very multicultural, surprising, vibrant, exciting, even chocking city. Plenty of contrasts: huge and small, clean and dirty, rich and poor, old and modern. Marseille is open to the world, to everyone. Coming to Marseille is like changing the country. It’s totally different comparing to other cities in France.
To visit Marseille and “understand” it, the best would be on foot and during all day, but attention, it could be a bit tiring! 😊 However, during this day I will do my best to show you, at least from the car, all the sides of Marseille and share my socio-cultural knowledge and experience about this city.
Then, you will totally change the planet..We will take the beautiful coast road to Cassis, this small fishermen village became very chic and trendy. You will have some time to walk in the village and have lunch. Then you will take the boat there to visit the real treasure of Mediterranean – Les Calanques (1h20). It’s really amazing, so gorgeous. After the boat time, coming back home, I will bring you to Cap Canailles, the highest cliff in all Europe. We will stop there just to admire the beauty of the sea and all the landscape. So, so inspiring!
