Mediterranean dream : Cassis, Calanques & Marseille

 

We can start by Marseille visiting the incredible basilica Notre-Dame-de-la-Garde with its amazing 360° view of the city and sea. You can as well have a walk in the vibrant Old Port. But if you prefer to simply relax by the sea, we can directly go to Cassis : chic and pictoresque fisherman village.

I'll bring you to the highest cliff in all Europe, Le Cap Canaille where you'll taste my 3 favourite wines accompanied by few local appetizers. With the panoramic view of Cassis, calanques and the sea, you'll never forget this moment and the freshness of Provencal wines ! :)

Then, we will reach the center of Cassis, you'll have free time there to take a boat, explore nice boutiques, have lunch & stroll. Just go with the flow.

 

For the boat, you can visit from 3 to 9 calanques. I recommend to do the longer trip to be able to see the most incredible of them. You can as well go at the beautiful beach in the center.

My goal is to propose you a day itinerary according to your expectations and day mood : some people will prefer visit Marseille and just do a fast boat ride in Cassis, some prefer to spend more chilling day and explore all Calanques (1h50 or 2h20 boat ride) to really immerse in this unic landscape.
